SynthShred is a comprehensive musical instrument that offers a wide range of sound presets, including piano, guitars, ethnic instruments, chromatic percussions, strings, pipes, synth pads, reed instruments, brass, organs, ensemble, bass, synth leads, and more.

For guitarists, SynthShred provides 29 different tuning presets, such as standard guitar tuning, all fourths, drop tunings, open tunings, major minor tunings, and many others.

In addition to its sound capabilities, SynthShred also includes 14 commonly used musical scales like Major, Minor, Harmonic Minor, Pentatonic, and more.

One useful feature of SynthShred is the ability to change the root key of the selected scale. This ensures that players can easily stay in key while performing. The diatonic surface option further enhances this functionality by removing notes that are not part of the scale from the playing surface.

With its expressive physical guitar surface and both monophonic and polyphonic modes, SynthShred offers a versatile playing experience. Users can also adjust string and fret counts to tailor the instrument to their preferences.

In addition to its extensive sound library and customizable playing options, SynthShred features modulation sliders for added expressiveness. On-screen controls for reverb and echo effects are conveniently available during performances. Furthermore, for acoustic instruments, a sustain button is provided.

SynthShred is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPods and is available for free. It requires iOS 9.0 or later to run smoothly.
